What is a running coach, and how can they help me?
A running coach is a professional who guides and supports runners to achieve their fitness, performance, or competition goals. At OneTrack Club, our running coaches provide personalised training plans tailored to your needs, help refine your technique, and offer expert advice on everything from nutrition to recovery. Whether you’re training for a race, recovering from an injury, or just starting out, our coaches help you progress efficiently, safely, and confidently.
What locations do you offer in-person coaching?
We provide in-person running coaching in parks, on tracks, at homes, and even at workplaces. Currently, our services are available in London, Farnham, and surrounding areas. We do have a global network of talented coaches so if you're unsure whether we operate in your area, contact us to discuss your options. We also offer virtual coaching for those outside our in-person service zones.
How do virtual running coaching sessions work?
Our virtual running coaching sessions are designed to provide the same personalised support as in-person coaching. We connect via a video call and guide you through your workout, offering live advice and motivation along the way.
What’s an online running coach?
Our virtual running coaching service is designed to provide the same personalised support as in-person coaching. We connect via video calls or through our coaching app, where we discuss your goals, track your progress, and adjust your training plan in real-time. You'll also receive ongoing feedback, technique reviews, and expert advice to keep you motivated and on track, no matter where you are.
What types of athletes or goals do you cater to?
At OneTrack Club, we cater to runners of all levels and abilities. Whether you're a beginner looking to complete your first 5k, an experienced athlete training for a marathon, or someone focused on improving overall fitness, we tailor our coaching to meet your unique goals. Our expertise spans short and long-distance running, speed improvement, injury recovery, and performance optimisation. Crucially, we don't just work with people who run. We can train people working towards any sporting goal, such as Triathlon, Ironman, Hyrox, or training for longevity and life.
How personalised is OneTrack Club run coaching?
As personalised as it gets. At OneTrack Club, our run coaching is tailored to you in ways no generic plan or algorithmic app can match. We use cutting-edge physiological and biomechanical data from tests like VO2 Max and lactate threshold analysis to ensure your training plan is based on your unique body, capabilities, and potential.
But personalisation goes far beyond data. Our expert coaches are real people who take the time to understand your lifestyle, work commitments, and the stresses you face in daily life. Training isn't just about following a plan—it’s about adapting it to fit into the ebb and flow of your reality.
Sometimes, what you need most isn’t a harder workout but someone to listen, empathise, and adjust your plan to keep you balanced. Our coaches provide that human connection, offering the reassurance and encouragement you need during challenging times. Whether it’s helping you stay on track despite a busy schedule or knowing when to scale back to avoid burnout, we focus on supporting you holistically.
This level of care and adaptability sets us apart from generic apps or one-size-fits-all solutions. With OneTrack Club, you’re not just another runner—you’re a valued individual with a team dedicated to helping you thrive.
What is VO2 Max testing, and why is it important?
VO2 Max testing measures your body's maximum oxygen uptake during intense exercise. It’s a key indicator of your aerobic fitness and endurance capacity. At our performance lab, we use VO2 Max testing to identify your fitness level and help create a training plan that matches your current abilities and goals. By understanding your VO2 Max, we can accurately target your training zones and improve your running efficiency over time.
