About The Event
The Learn to Love Running series in partnership with Sheerluxe will take place each Saturday at 10.30am for the next six weeks. All levels are welcome and we strongly recommend roping in a friend for the added feel good factor.
What does it entail?
During the session, you'll be guided through:
- 15 minutes of drills
- A light warm up
- 40 minutes of running (or moving -- this could involve walking, begiiner's don't fret!)
- A quick cool down
During the 40 minutes of moving, you'll be coached through varying paces in blocks of time. So that means you may spend 2 minutes running at an effort of 3 out of 10, or 30 seconds at 8 out of 10 (depending on the type of session of course!) Along the way, you'll learn about the science behind the sport, hear some inspirational stories, and have a fab playlist to keep motivation high.
How does an audio run work?
It's essentially a Google Meet video call (which is like Zoom for you die-hard Zoomers). You'll receive the link to join the call about ten minutes before > click the link > join the call (you can turn off your video and mic) > pop your phone in your pocket with your earphones ready. That's it!
